EGO (Quality Road) went off at long odds in allowance company at Remington Park, but he did not know that and stalked cleared and won by 2 1/4 lengths going 1 1/16 on the dirt. He is trained by  Lynn Chleborad  for owner Poindexter Thoroughbreds LLC. He got his start with Cary in Aiken.

MIA BEA STAR is owned jointly by Suzy Haslup and trainer Dave Donk. She broke without incident in the 6 furlong maiden at Aqueduct, ran 4th early, and then battled her way to the lead where she won by 4.  The 3-year-old Race Day filly was selected as a yearling by Suzy Haslup.

SW  HIEROGLYPHICS added to his earnings at Belmont, winning for new connections trainer  Michael J. Maker and owner Michael Dubb. He has earned over $290,000.

At Gulfstream West SPIN YOUR PARTNER graduated in a MSW for trainer Jane Cibelli and owner Mark B. Grier. Also at Gulfstream West and for the same connections WALK UP MUSIC also graduated.

LEMONADE THURSDAY  broke his maiden over National fences ar   GLENWOOD PARK AT MIDDLEBURG  for owner Riverdee Stable and trainer Jack Fisher.
